Released in 1983, ‘Pyromania’ was Def Leppard’s third album, and was the record that broke the Sheffield rockers across America, eventually selling over 10 million copies Worldwide. Helmed by legendary producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange, the LP featured four singles, ‘Foolin’’, ‘Rock Of Ages’, ‘Too Late For Love’, and the album’s best known track ‘Photograph’, all aided by MTV-friendly videos. Successfully welding muscular hard rock to radio friendly, melodic hooks, according to Spin magazine "they sweeten the sound, mating AC/DC riffs to Journey mall drama, battle-march mythos to lovelorn mooning over photo albums."
